Last updated: November 1, 2026Version: 1.0

01Who is responsible for your data

The data controller (“responsable”) is the_agnts_, located at Mérida, Yucatán, México (“the_agnts_”, “we”, “us”). We operate the website theagnts.com.

Our data protection contact, who handles requests under article 29 of the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), can be reached at ops@theagnts.ai.

02Legal framework

This notice is issued under the LFPDPPP (published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on March 20, 2025, as amended) and its implementing rules. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with its own data protection law, the additional information in this notice marked for those visitors also applies to you.

This is the integral version of the notice. The short (simplified) version shown next to our contact form and the voice demo points here.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data (for example health, ethnic origin, religion, political opinions, sexual orientation or genetic data), financial account numbers, passwords or credentials. Please do not include them in the contact form or say or type them in the voice or chat demos. If you do, we will use them only to answer you and will delete them on request. We do not use your voice to identify you or build a voiceprint.

We do not make decisions that produce legal effects on you based solely on automated processing.

04Why we use your data

Purposes needed to deal with you (they do not require additional consent):

  • →Answer your inquiry, understand your business and prepare a proposal or free proof of concept.
  • →Run the voice or chat demo you requested, show you the transcript or replies and keep it within fair-use limits.
  • →Protect the site: detect abuse, spam and attacks, apply rate limits and keep it available.
  • →Keep records of our relationship and meet legal, tax and contractual obligations, and defend legal claims.

Secondary purpose (optional): after your inquiry, we may contact you at the email you gave us to share information about our services that is relevant to what you asked about. We do not send mass marketing, and we do not sell, rent or trade your data. If you do not want this, write to us at the address above, before or after contacting us, and we will stop. Refusing never affects the purposes above.

Legal bases for visitors in the EEA or UK (GDPR / UK GDPR): taking steps at your request before a contract (art. 6(1)(b)) for inquiries and proofs of concept; our legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention and responding to business inquiries (art. 6(1)(f)); and your consent (art. 6(1)(a)) for the microphone and for the optional follow-up, which you can withdraw at any time.

06Voice demo (AI)

  • →The assistant is an artificial intelligence, not a person, and the scenarios use simulated data.
  • →Your audio is streamed in real time to our voice assistant to run the conversation, and is processed by our service infrastructure. A session lasts about three minutes at most.
  • →We configure our voice assistant so that audio recordings are not stored. Conversation transcripts are kept for up to 30 days to troubleshoot and prevent abuse, then deleted.
  • →When the call ends, its text transcript is sent to AI service providers only to classify the call and write the summary shown in the demo. We select providers that do not retain prompts or use them for training, and we do not store the result.
  • →We do not use demo conversations to train our own models.
  • →Please do not say personal, confidential, financial or health information, or information about other people, during the demo.

07Chat demo (AI)

  • →The assistant is an artificial intelligence, not a person, and the scenarios use simulated data.
  • →Each message you send, together with the earlier messages of that conversation, is sent to AI service providers only to generate the reply, to run the simulated actions and to produce the conversation analytics shown in the demo. We select providers that do not retain prompts or use them for training.
  • →We do not store chat conversations. They exist in your browser until you restart, change scenario or leave the page. The providers may keep technical metadata (for example timestamps and token counts).
  • →We reject messages that look like card, bank account or ID numbers before they leave our server.
  • →Please do not type personal, confidential, financial or health information, or information about other people, during the demo.

08Who receives your data

We work with trusted service providers that support our infrastructure and operations. They process data on our behalf, under our instructions and under confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not transfer it to other third parties. We would only disclose it without your consent in the cases allowed by article 36 of the LFPDPPP, for example if a competent authority requires it by law or to defend a legal right in a proceeding. If that ever changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where required, including whether you accept or not any transfer (art. 35).

Your data may be processed in countries other than Mexico. Where the law requires it, we apply appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses for visitors in the EEA or UK.

09How long we keep it

  • →Contact form messages and related emails: up to 24 months after our last interaction if no engagement follows, then deleted.
  • →If we work together: for the duration of the relationship and afterwards in blocked form only for the statutory limitation periods, as required to address possible liabilities (LFPDPPP art. 24), and then deleted.
  • →Voice demo transcripts: up to 30 days. Audio recordings: not stored.
  • →Chat demo conversations: not stored by us (they live only in your browser). Rate-limit counters: in memory, at most 24 hours.
  • →Server logs: for the limited period set in our infrastructure.

10How we protect it

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the risk, no lower than those we use for our own information (LFPDPPP art. 18): encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), service credentials kept on the server and never exposed in the browser, short-lived tokens for voice sessions, per-IP and global usage limits, spam filtering, access limited to people who need it, and confidentiality duties for everyone who handles data (art. 20).

If a security breach significantly affects your property or moral rights, we will tell you promptly so you can protect your interests (art. 19). No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your data has been compromised, write to us right away.

11Your rights (ARCO) and how to exercise them

You, or your legal representative, may at any time exercise your rights of Access (know what data we hold and how we use it), Rectification (correct inaccurate or incomplete data), Cancellation (ask us to delete it, after a blocking period where the law requires) and Opposition (object to its use for a legitimate reason), as well as revoke your consent. Exercising one right is not a prerequisite for exercising another.

Send your request to ops@theagnts.ai including: (1) your name and an email or address for our reply; (2) a copy of an official ID, or of the representative's authority and ID; (3) a clear description of the data and the right you want to exercise; and (4) anything that helps us locate your data. For rectification, include the corrections and supporting documents.

  • →We will tell you our decision within 20 business days of receiving your request, and if it is granted, carry it out within the following 15 business days. Both periods can be extended once for an equal period when circumstances justify it (art. 31).
  • →It is free. We may only charge for reproduction, copies or shipping (art. 34).
  • →We may refuse a request only for the reasons in article 33 (for example, the requester is not duly identified, we do not hold the data, or the rights of a third party would be harmed), and we will explain why.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, or we do not answer in time, you may file a data protection request with the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, the Mexican authority for private-sector data protection, within 15 business days of our answer (art. 40).

Visitors in the EEA or UK also have the right to data portability, to restriction of processing and to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws may request to know, delete or correct their data; we do not sell or share personal data for advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Use the same email address for all these requests.

12Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, web beacons or similar tools to monitor your behavior on this site. The only thing we store in your browser is your language choice (in local storage, key “theagnts-locale”), which stays on your device and is not sent to us. Fonts and logos are served from our own domain. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

If we add analytics or other tracking tools in the future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent beforehand where required.

13Minors

This site is aimed at businesses and professionals and is not directed to people under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data; if you believe a minor has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.

14Changes to this notice

We may update this notice to reflect changes in the law or in how we work. The current version and its date are always shown at the top of this page, and a prior version is available on request. For material changes, we will say so on the site and, if we are in contact with you, by email. If we ever want to use your data for a purpose not described here, we will ask for your consent again (art. 11).
